Choose a bittorrent client. I suggest utorrent for the utorrent downloading client. However, if you want a bittorrent client which can play videos as well. You might want to use Miro.
After you have chosen a client, download it.
So now you have gotten your downloader for torrent files. Excellent.
For torrent files, go to the Pirate Bay. Search for a file that you want and then click on it and after that click on magnet link, which will give a link to your bittorrent client to start downloading the file from.

Now I will explain to you some common terms in torrenting.
Seeders are people who have completed the file and are uploading bits of the file online. You have to understand that when you torrent a file, you are not downloading it as a whole download but you are instead downloading it in parts. These guys help you.
Leechers are people who are downloading the file, just like you and are also downloading the stuff the Seeders upload. This guys will slow down your download speed.
A word of advice. To download torrents faster, don't bother starting the download in the afternoon. To get good results, start the download at like 11pm, late night because all the guys from America are awake and are seeding.
